The CardioFit app is designed to record and track your cardiovascular health and achievements by maintaining a history of your activity, effort, blood pressure, heart rate and weight.
CardioFit uses your mobile's GPS and pedometer sensors to track distance, speed and steps. Blood pressure, heart rate and weight must be taken using a blood pressure cuff and a scale and manually entered into Cardio
The user profile allows for personalization and is where you enter your physical characteristics, which are used to determine your body mass index.
This is also where you can set your target weight, which can be an incremental target for weight loss or static weight for weight maintenance.
In your user profile,
Touching the CardioFit logo will launch the target heart rate zone dialog. Enter your birth year, resting pulse and desired cardio zone. Your target heart rate will be displayed just below the logo. This is the heart rate you will attempt to maintain throughout your activity.
Enter your birth year, resting pulse and select a desired zone. Together, these values will determine your target heart rate range. CardioFit remembers your setting for each activity.
Update your weight by touching the weight button. If Use SI units is checked, you will enter your weight in kg, otherwise enter your weight in lbs.
The CardioFit app does not collect any personal data. Therefore, it has no personal data to sell or share with any third parties.
All information is stored solely on your mobile phone. While the app does access the GPS feature of your phone, it is used only for calculating distance and speed.
